Nina Modaffari grew up in Southern California along with her parents and two younger siblings and a variety of pets. Since childhood she has been fascinated with paranormal and fantasy worlds and thus began to draw monsters and demons that would disturb her parents and frighten other children. Today her artwork has grown to include mythology, demonology and fantasy elements which gives her characters a range of style from grotesque to endearing.
Nina currently resides in Northern California with her wife and two cats. She has been in the industry for five years and is currently working on The Sims 4 at Maxis (a division of Electronic Arts). She has previously worked at BonusXP and Disney Interactive. She’s worked on properties such as Marvel, Star Wars and Frozen and a variety of smaller projects.
